Revana is situated in the beautiful St. Helena AVA, an area long known for producing some of the world’s great Cabernet Sauvignon.  Purchasing the property in 1998, Dr. Madaiah Revana immediately brought to it his guiding philosophy of quality as the paramount goal.  Legendary vineyard manager Jim Barbour’s team planted and now maintain the estate and the winemaking duties lie with Thomas Rivers Brown, whose artfully restrained approach allows for the pure expression of the Revana Estate Vineyard. Employing natural yeasts, gentle maceration and attention to every detail, Thomas crafts wines of purity, depth, character and elegance.  Revana has enjoyed great critical success including the honour of being ranked number 4 in the world in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2010.
