Description
Described by Robert Parker as bing like 'a first-growth Pauillac', Morlet's Estate Cabernet Sauvignon comes exclusively from the vineyards surrounding their restored stone winery just north of the town of St. Helena. Handcrafted using classical winemaking techniques and reminiscent of a true First Growth, this wine represents the precious memory of a very special place. The intense and complex bouquet is a mix of red cherry and blackberry, underlined with mineral notes, licorice, fresh blond tobacco and a hint of blackcurrant. The palate is full-bodied, with a richly tannic yet round frame leading to a long, seamless and elegant finish.
