Description
The Morlet family have been growing Pinot Noir in Champagne for generations and the 'En Famille' cuvee extends this tradition to the new world. The grapes are foot-trodded by the four Morlets - Luc, Jodie and their two children - before fermentation in 600l puncheons and fourteen months aging in French Oak. The palate has intense notes of red fruits and forest floor with an underlying note of graphite and a lingering, leather-hued finish. The 2012 is showing beautifully now after a few years in bottle and is at it's best when enjoyed with family and loved ones - En Famille!
