Description
Named for one of Joe's daughters, the grapes for ths wine come from a small block vines on a west-facing hillside above the town of Sebastopol. Here the Chardonnay ripens slowly under the full influence of the Pacific Coast, with cool temperatures brought on by a thick marine layer of fog that does not usually give way until noon, even in peak of summer. This cool, temperate environment allows for a protracted growing season that gives a remarkably elaborate and elegant wine with full flavour development without compromising acidity and structure.
