Description
Given the name 'The Afternoon' it should be no surprise that this is a wine for any time of day, beautifully approachable on it's own yet complex enough to stand up to the richest of dishes. After hand-picking and careful sorting the wine was fermented in barrel and then aged on lees for eight months, giving a wine full of texture, yet with the fruity, zesty character that makes it unmistakeably Sauvignon Blanc. The strong mineral background, a stamp of the Knights Valley Estate, balances the overall richness, giving a superb refinement. The finish is layered, very long and elegant.
